Baptism Day

Jocelyn Jackson
Baptized and Confirmed
a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints
on Sunday September 4, 20011
Jocelyn's Big day-
we have church from 1-4 then our Stake has the Stake Baptism on Sunday evenings.
(which is really nice- Sat mornings are usually so crazy for everyone)
This is her cute Baptism dress she picked out for after!

The kids out in the front yard before church
This is Jocelyn's primary class full of fun girls!

Jocelyn was baptized by her father Jeffrey D Jackson

This is the dress that I was also baptized in. My cute Aunt Lynn Maxfield made this dress and most of the girl Maxfield cousin's were baptized in it. On the under skirt she has stitched in each persons name and date who has used this dress. Jocelyn was the first second generation to use it. It was very special that she could wear this special dress!the Proud Parents

Her loving and supporting family. It was fun to be back in Utah so a lot of family could make it to the baptism. Thanks to all that came and we missed those who couldn't (Labor day weekend always a little hard)
One of her closest cousins Ashlyn (about 5 months apart)
Jocelyn also sang a Solo in the baptism program " the Baptism Song"-(or the rainbow song as i like to call it) She did an amazing job. Thanks Emily Moffit for working with her on it.
We had family at our home after for brownies and ice- cream one of Jocelyn's favorite desserts.
the Jackson Clan with my cute Grandfather Nelson
with Jeff's cute Grandma Burningham
Some of the family together
Laura, Brooke and Marc Jackson
G &G Jackson, Karen, Kris, Jeff, Marc , Brooke and Madden
all the Maxfield who could make it. ( we missed you out of towners)
We are so proud of our sweet Jocelyn and for her decision to become baptized! We love you!

What a dear, sweet girl!! We are so happy that she is growing up to be such an amazing young lady. What a big day! I would be lying if I said that I'm not sick that we couldn't be there with you. We are missing you more than ever! Fingers crossed that we can be closer one day.
