Santa Barbara Convention

Jeff with the four other Sports fellows and Dr. Steve Snyder
It is the Orthopedic convention time of year. We got to go to Santa Barbara this weekend. (about 2 hour beautiful drive) Santa Barbara is gorgeous you almost feel like your on a tropical island as you are driving into it. We got to stay at a supper fancy hotel and had a few great dinners with the people Jeff works with and some ortho reps. We hung out at the zoo with another fellows family and also checked out the beach. We love tagging along at these conventions and exploring new places.

These monkey's made the funniest squealing sound

LEGOLAND

the classic "It is too sunny" to open my eyes

Amazing what they can build with Legos

racing their cars
"Bob the Builder" and Caden
the nice worker that took Jocelyn and Ellie on the ride. Since i was by myself and had no one to hold James and Caden.

Nice lady who watched the other kids (and took pictures) so my kids could go on the ride with an adult. Fortunately most of the rides Jocelyn was tall enough to accompany Ellie and Caden

Jocelyn having fun with the camera
End of the Day! We LOVED Legoland and had so much fun!

Carlsbad -(part one)

Jeff had a quick conference in Carlsbad this weekend so we met up with him after school on Friday evening. It only a few hours from us but we hit some major fun LA traffic and took almost twice as long. Anyway it was beautiful there. The kids and i went to Legoland while Jeff was in meetings . We all loved it. It was not to crowded and the kids could go on most rides by themselves. Then the next day we walked the beach and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The weekend was awesome with ideal conditions , 80 degree weather in January! I am loving the warmth!
