Substitution

Ellie lost her First tooth this last week at school somewhere sometime? I picked her up after school and we started walking home and she always runs ahead and waits at the corner. When we the rest of us got to the corner she started talking and i noticed and asked Ellie where her tooth was? She acted surprised and said she did not know it was out or when it fell out. We asked maybe it fell out at lunch but Ellie did not think that happened . Then we thought it must have it fell out on our walk home. So we retraced our steps looking everywhere for this little baby tooth. Much to Ellie's dismay we did not find it. Jocelyn and i were trying to tell her it was ok she could write a letter to the tooth fairy and explain what had happened. She did not like that idea. Then Jocelyn (being the nice sister that she is) told Ellie she could borrow one of her old teeth (that she had saved) and put it under her pillow for the fairy.
Ellie loved this idea. So her and Jocelyn cleaned off Jocie's old tooth and Ellie used it for her own. Look how happy she is NoW! Can't believe my little Ellie bug is getting so old and grown up! Holding the Tooth Substitution!
Also this month Ellie received the award for Student of the Month in her class for good academic achievement! Way to go Ellie! Nice work!
a not so photogenic teacher
acting a little shy in front of the whole school
But she has been wanting this award since Jocelyn got it in September.
Big Month for our Ellie!

That teacher is hilarious!!! Jocelyn is so full of love and kindness, what a sweet story. We miss you SO BAD, but I bet you didn't miss shoveling a foot of snow last weekend.

That tooth must have been VERY loose to have fallen out and she didn't even notice. :) What a great story.
