Labor Day at the Beach

Jeff had Labor Day off so we went to Santa Monica Beach. It was a perfect conditions for beginner surfers and perfect weather. Jeff and I both tried a little surfing and the kids did so boogie boarding for the first time. There is just something about being on the Beach. LOVE IT!

Ellie, my daredevil, went first. Jeff would help them catch the wave. She loved it and tried it again and again even with no hands


Then Jocelyn's turn. She caught a few good waves and had a few falls too.

We brought the tent this time around and it work out great. James had a shady place to sleep, kids had a place to play out of the sun and we had a place to eat lunch with a little less sand.
the tent is kidda big, but it is what we had.
Also a place to change out of their wet clothes

Great last Beach day before School starts next week.
