August 31, 2003

WOW, I can't believe Jocelyn, our first born, is 5 years old. She is such a wonderful little girl. She is the best helper with her brother and sister. She loves to feed, hold, and entertain Caden. Jocelyn is Ellie's second mother. She loves to put Ellie down for her nap (reading and singing to her). She always includes Ellie in whatever she is doing-they are the best of friends. She also loves to organize her room and make her bed and not sleep in it because she will mess it up. She loves to dance, do gymnastics and after this summer, is really a good little swimmer. Jocelyn has always loved books- you could never read to her enough. She can now read some beginner books. Jocelyn loves to make lists and check them off, spell things and color. She is also very "Girly" - she loves dresses, jewelry and being a princess and dressing up "Fancy". She is an amazing daughter and we love her very much! Happy Birthday Jocey! Here is a few pictures of her life....

(our computer crashed a while ago and we lost lost of our pictures when Jocelyn was a baby-so slim pickins- Sad!)

We had Jocelyn's 5th Birthday Party a few days early at Chuck E Cheese. The Kids had almost as much fun as the adults did. Everyone enjoyed the pizza, games, rides and cake. Jocelyn was in heaven. What a great party. Here are a few pictures from last night.

About Time

Ellie Officially Potty Trained! Way to "GO" Ellie!

What a cutie

Fay hit us hard. We are finally seeing it clear up a little. Now it is just sprinkling and a lot of clean up needed. We had a ton of water-constant rain and wind for three days. Most all the stores, mall, YMCA, restaurants etc were closed for two days. We were pretty much trapped inside. Our kids did reach a few mile stones during that time. We did manage to potty train Ellie. Horray! Better late than never! Now only one in diapers. Caden learned how to pull himself to standing position and now does it in his crib all the time. So it was a productive few days? check out the http://mattandkristinwallace.blogspot.com/ blog for more pictures of our apartments after the big storm. pretty crazy

Having Fun with Aunt Bryndy

We had so much fun with my sister here. We were very sad to see her leave. We got to do lots of fun things before the tropical storm hit. We went to Orlando, swimming, shopping and to the beach. The last few days we played inside, did some dancing, played school and beauty parlor while it was crazy outside. Thanks Bryn for coming -we love you. Jocelyn and Bryndy
