Muesum of History and Science

Today we went to Museum of History and Science with the Pritts. The kids really enjoyed all the fun exhibits and the star show in the planetarium. Afterward we ate a picnic lunch at the Friendship Fountain next door.Jocelyn , Lauren and Ellie

the little brother rocking the girls playing in the tree housethe water part, even Caden loved putting things down the water. Me and the giant bugs!
I had the kids stand in front of this giant Praying Mantis and they were almost all smiling for the picture. But I did not take it fast enough because it started to move and all the kids B-lined it away from the giant moving insect. It was hilarious - I did not know it was going to move either. We all were a little scared.
Here is a picture with its arms extended
the kids at the river walk in Downtown Jacksonville. As you can see Ellie is ready for a nap.
Lindsay and the whole crew at Friendship Fountain

We sat down to eat lunch and then we got attacked by the birds. They were not one bit scared of us. The kids had fun chasing them away but they always came back.

Hanna Park and Beach

We went to Hanna Park and the Beach with a few fun families this weekend. We had a BBQ and played at the park then hit the waves at the beach. It was so much fun we all were very tired after a full day of play.

Rub a dub dub- three kids in a tub

The kids got in the "HOT TUB" (as Ellie calls it) after we went swimming last night. The kids love playing in the bath. As soon as I turn the water on Caden starts kicking his legs so hard, he gets so excited to join his sisters. You think they would all be sick of the water after swimming for an hour. But no- it is still so fun and they never want to get out!

Hands on Children Museum

Ellie filling her shopping cart at the store

Caden loving the play money
Jocelyn loving being the checker and cashier
the girls on the "Stage"

It has been kind of raining this weekend so the kids and I tried out the Children's museum in Jacksonville. It was especially fun for the girls because we did not bring a lot of toys and dress ups with us to Florida. They had lots of different stations such as: a grocery store, a kitchen, slides and ball pit, post office, a stage with dress up clothing, puppet show stage and puppets, wheelchair basketball, a baby room with lots of fisher price toys and little bikes and much more. Here are a few pictures of the day.

More fun on the road

In the Box seats watching the horse races.

In Nashville, Tennessee at the Grand Ole Opry. Jocelyn and Ellie hanging out by a big fish.
It was a great road trip - a little long - but very fun and eventful.
