Muesum of History and Science

Today we went to Museum of History and Science with the Pritts. The kids really enjoyed all the fun exhibits and the star show in the planetarium. Afterward we ate a picnic lunch at the Friendship Fountain next door.Jocelyn , Lauren and Ellie

the little brother rocking the girls playing in the tree housethe water part, even Caden loved putting things down the water. Me and the giant bugs!
I had the kids stand in front of this giant Praying Mantis and they were almost all smiling for the picture. But I did not take it fast enough because it started to move and all the kids B-lined it away from the giant moving insect. It was hilarious - I did not know it was going to move either. We all were a little scared.
Here is a picture with its arms extended
the kids at the river walk in Downtown Jacksonville. As you can see Ellie is ready for a nap.
Lindsay and the whole crew at Friendship Fountain

We sat down to eat lunch and then we got attacked by the birds. They were not one bit scared of us. The kids had fun chasing them away but they always came back.

Love that the Jacksons are living it up in Jacksonville this summer--and I can't believe how big Caden is getting, let alone your girls!

the bug story cracks me up, maybe we will have to hit that place with the family instead of the zoo, it looks so fun and indoors with air.
